LETTER FROM ZELMIRA SERRANO, OUR GENERAL DIRECTOR
On August 31, 2021, AVANTRA®️ received confirmation from CEMEFI (Mexican Center for Philanthropy) that for the seventh consecutive year we have obtained the distinction as a Socially Responsible Company.
For this reason, I would like to congratulate all the employees who participate daily to achieve this goal every year. Eng. Santiago Orendáin, for instilling from the foundations of the company the importance of social commitment, as well as Mr. Adrián Murillo, for successfully leading these actions in AVANTRA®️.
The road to implementing best practices in the company has not always been the easiest, but it is undoubtedly the most rewarding. Through our commitment to obtaining and maintaining this distinction, we have learned about the importance of recognizing and attending to all our stakeholders, as well as knowing that we are jointly responsible for what happens in our society.
Obtaining the badge is undoubtedly a source of great pride. However, what is really important and valuable is to remind ourselves daily that, as part of the world we live in, it is in our hands to dedicate our time to contribute value or to diminish it; to improve the conditions in which we all live or to think selfishly only of our own well-being; to take action to change the things we don’t like or to simply complain about them.
