Educating with environmental awareness

Today we are at an environmental tipping point in the world. The actions we and future generations take to create a more sustainable life could make or break the planet.

Childhood is a crucial stage in the development of a person’s behavior, social awareness, and generosity. At school, we learn values and behaviors that will stay with us throughout our lives and define who we are. That is what makes it so important to awakening an interest in caring for and protecting the environment while our children are still young.

The goal of teaching environmental education to children is for them to make caring for nature part of their lives, rather than simply studying it.
